I'm probably wrong, but I looked at it as he has 34,064,425 left on his deal (since the ETO counts)
15% of which is 5,109,663
halved since he has 2 yrs left, is 2,554,831

So is his outgoing trade value 16,378,325 + 2,554,831
= 18,933, 156

??

Any clarification

Stoudemire signed his extension under the current CBA, and his contract exceeds the maximum. The trade kicker would therefore be automatically withdrawn upon a trade.
