The Extra Emotions Don't Get Added To A Post

Don't you just have to click or press them and they appear in the posting text box? I have to use the image tag to use them. Why do the ones above the text box work, but not the extra ones? Could it be my browser, or ad blocking? I didn't always have this problem.
