Why does Realgm always use stupid pictures for their stories

Why can't they put a normal picture of the basketball/coach/gm/ or whoever they are talking about just like every other professional publications. Instead they use pictures of people making weird reactions.

Why do you have a picture of dwight howard angry and scowling in your signature?
Because its more interesting than a boring plain profile photo.

Is it a rights issue? I am sure pictures for a commercial site aren't free.
