I have to give Credit to Miller31Time. When he took over, he made threads that were more of topic of contribution(Game type threads) than just talking about a specific player. He had a lot of neat ideas and he gives good reasons right before he locks up a thread.
No i'm not kissing his back side, he's just one of the mods that is unbiased and has a good demeanor to him(Never rubs me off the wrong way).
I absolutely HATE the way General NBA board is being run

I think for the playoffs, the OP for the stickied topic should create the initial post as a sort of table of context to related topics, which may or may not be stickied (probably not sticky) themselves.
That way, for example, you can have a sticky post on "Mavs vs. Warriors, West Conf 1st round," and have the rest of the thread for general posts about the series. But if people want to create a thread, say like "SJax vs. Dirk," have that as its own thread, and have the OP of the Series thread put a link to it, so it won't have to be on the first page for readers to find.
Also, individual game threads, ones where people post "OMG what a dunk!!!" can be created but not clutter up the series thread, and pollute other topics of discussion. And obviously, game threads would be linked from the Series threads themselves in case anyone wants to go look at what people wrote for a previous game.
This way, even if there's countless threads about a series, only the relevant and interesting ones get posted on the TOC, while the uninteresting or repetitive ones can get merged or locked. Preferably, a mod either for the GB or the teams' boards would create and control the original post, and follow their best discretion on which threads to link.
That's my two cents on that.

I think what bothers me most is that you say you were offered a chance to moderate, and you declined.
So you had a chance to make changes, and help improve the boards, yet you decline, and are now angry that things aren't the way you like it.
It's kind of like not voting then complaining about Bush.
