You keep blaming me for "banning you" (which I dont have the authority or power to do without consent from the administrators of the site), but going back through the Laker/Jazz game threads, I dont see it.

can you unwaive someone? i think we should start up a bring back monkeyfeng thread, he was a great poster, and always very knowledgable and good poster, especially on the general and current affairs board, can you actually tell us what he did wrong? because i checked his recent posts and couldnt find anything worth waving someone over, seriously realgm is a good site and its good, but people are getting waved left right and center, and sure 90% deserve it, but 10% are fantastic posters and contributers to the site, remember mods without us you dont have a site

to add to my previous post, when your a regular user of realgm your going to say something wrong, im not sure how banning works, but i ASSUME(and i could be wrong) that you do something wrong you get warning, do it again and you get a number of suspensions, after suspensions you get waived?, but i mean i have been here almost 2 years and only have 868 posts(869now) so the chances of me saying something wrong are smaller then someone with close to 20,000 posts, i mean does number of posts come in to consideration? because people are only humans and are going to make mistakes, and the more posts the more chances there are of mistakes

btw just checking monkeys posts properly, i think he may of been banned from posts in a pierce to portland thread, which if so is equally as bad as this, but hay the reason for being banned isnt the point im getting at, the point im trying to say is that people are going to make mistakes, and the longer they are here the higher chance there is of that

That is taken into account; the general rule of thumb in the Forum Rules is three warnings within three months equals a suspension, with a little bit of wiggle room either way depending on the severity of the violations (ie., posting porn, insane flame war excursions).

you don't have to, just be mindful of what you post, if it could cause a problem or rub someone the wrong way just don't post it

You will find a number of posters on this site that will completely disagree with you and it's happened to them. I've received a just warning before which I accepted, but also an unjust one. Last year over in the Lakers board after a Jazz blowout win, I posted "Good game ". I was given a warning. I replied back saying no warning should have been given, and was actually baited by one of their mods to keep disagreeing with them and replying to them as they would reccomend me for suspension.

I looked back at your warning, and this is what happened.


Keep in mind the PM was sent for afriendly warning (which doesnt go against your record), but more or less serves to let you know that on a night where tension was high, a Jazz fan gloating about a win on the LAL wouldnt fly.

Hey D2, this is a friendly warning for trolling the Laker Game thread. There is absolutely no need to gloat about your win, as it contributes nothing to the thread, and instead ignites other attacks. I understand why youre happy tonight, but please keep the gloating out of teh Laker board. Thanks.

You were then warned for the pestering PMs you were sending me.

It happened to be your third warning, which due to RealGM"s three-strike policy, you were suspended for a week.

I talked it over with some mods, and we (along with Howard Mass) decided it was the right decision to give you for a week break. You had been previously warned for trolling the cavs board, on the jazz board, the blazer board, the jazz board again, the nuggets board, the jazz board again, and on the Laker board last night.

Howard felt like all these suspensions, plus the pestering PMs you were sending me, warranted 7 day break from RGM. Hopefully this isnt a repeating trend, and you come back cool and collected.

I highly doubt that, considering you were suspended twice with your other account, and was warned twice after your second suspension (which according to the three strikes policy, would mean you were warned a total of EIGHT times by several different mods.

Y'all do realize that Feng is medically depressed? He was on the brink of suicide not too long ago.

I totally agree with bling singh......sometimes ya'll need to look past the TOS. Obviously RealGM was an outlet for him and now you have cut them off for him permanently. Who knows what the consequences of these actions are.........the fact that we're talking about a persons life here should really put the TOS in perspective.

His life obviously isn't happy.......this simply compounds the problems.

People don't get waived for no reason.

There is a valid and justified reason as to why people are suspended, banned, waived etc.
