New threads listed in NBA front office

Post#1 » by mr sunday night » Wed Jun 18, 2008 10:31 am

First, I wanted to say that I like the new setup in the forums. I know there have been a lot of complaints from people who don't like change, but I think it looks great.

Only thing I wanted to ask about is this: Before the switch, each new thread in any particular NBA team forum would be listed in that NBA team's "Front Office" section. It was a great way to see new threads, without needing to skim through the entire forum. I would always access the forum through the front office, clicking on the new threads.

Will you be bringing this back? It was my favourite thing about RealGM.

Keep up the great work....

I don't mean to be pushy or to bump my own thread, but......could one of the mods or higher-ups reply to this question, just to let me know if it's in the plans or not? It would save me (and probably other people) visiting the front office all the time, to check if it's being updated.

If it isn't something that will be fixed, then I'll just adjust my bookmarks and start going directly to the forum. But man, I really hope they get the front office back up and running.

Thanks.....I'm digging the changes otherwise!

The threads listed in the front office will be back, but probably not until after the draft. After the draft is over we will be making updates to the team pages, one of which will be fixing the list of topics.

Yay, they're already back in the Raptors front office. Thanks RealGM.

Iceburg - the front office is when you go to realgm.com, then choose a team in the drop-down menu. That team page is the front office. They list new threads on there.

yeah i always thought it was a cool preview type page. It was ironically the first time I saw realgm, I thought that was how permanently realgm was setup. That page also has articles about the team like rumors, draft stuff, and info about the players.
