If you hate the new all blue look of posts and topics, I have a solution for you. I created this very simple user style, that makes the backgrounds all white. If you want you can change it to another color.
The Userstyle

You need to be running firefox and the stylish or greasmonkey extension for it to work. It should also work on Opera, but I haven't tested it.

Cool, I didn't know about @-moz-document domain stuff. That's great, it will make my css modifications much safer.

I like that better than my solution. I was just trying to make it readable again.
Now if you can figure out how to add quick reply with CSS...

Would you mind showing a screenshot of how it would look before I decide to add it?

For some reason its not working for me even though it has a checkmark next to "realgm forum restyling". Or maybe I don't notice the change.

if you're on IE7, you can install iepro and I think that should give you the ability to use it.
The change in floppy moose's style is that it hides the top header portion of the site.(mainly) Mine changes the post and topic colors for legibility (I thought his did, but was actually running mine at the same time.)

For real...Or at least give me an option of standard grey. One of the reasons I loved RealGM was the workplace inconspicuousness of an all-grey browser window.
Does anyone have a way to run this on ie or am I at the mercy of realgm admins making stylesheets?

Re: No More Blue Userstyle
Count me as a download/install.
I liked the old forum layout/colors much better.
I used to frequent an ezboard message board... then along came Yuku (Yuku took over ezboard and went to town with new features) and I went to it less and less, and now I haven't been to it for at least a year (I even had to look up the names it had been so long). Just because of the layout.
Like I wish the smilies wouldn't show on the right side when your posting, I don't use them. It just adds all this color and animation to my screen that says "this isn't a work related site I am visiting." (i adblock all your sigs)

Re: No More Blue Userstyle
Didn't the smilies show up on the left side of the posts on the old layout? What's the difference?

You don't have to adblock the sigs. You can turn off sig display in your profile. This is true both in new realgm software, and back pre-upgrade.
Go to User Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit Display Options

Re: No More Blue Userstyle
floppymoose, if you have some time...what is the "code" for index page rows? I mean...
*[class*="row bg1"] { background-color: #e3e3e3 ! important } is for subforums rows, for instance General NBA Discussion...
*[class*="post bg1"] { background-color: #efefef ! important } for actual posts in topics, and I even found...
*[class*="navbar"] { background-color: #e3e3e3 ! important } for navigation bar (found also for header). But really no idea what it would be for index page rows...I mean there is a code (not really sure if I should call it code actually) row, and when adding colour code for that, it changes row colours on index page, but also now on all subforums too...so, not great help. Any help there? Thanks!
EDIT: Btw, that "hover-on info" is brilliant, I love it. Any way to have avatars also, by default "missing", but when hover on, they show as well with info?
