Login Problems & Draft Night

Hello-

It has been very very frustrating that everytime I login and post something, I will automatically get logged right back out. Once I am logged out, it take 4-7 times just to get it to let me back on, even though it tells me that I have been logged in successfully everytime. I haven't been able to consistently reply to posts directed at me and it's getting to the point where I don't even want to post because it's so arduous. Can this problem be fixed?

With draft night tomorrow and all the congestion from fans talking about deals, potential deals, and other things.. it's going to be a nightmare having to login each and every time something happens. With the sheer number of times that logging in needs to be done just to get a post done it discourages fans wanting to converse about their favorite teams.

Also, like some have already mentioned the boards keep eating posts and with the log in problems... I'm just not pleased with this right now. Is this at least being worked on if it can't be fixed in time for tomorrow?

It sounds like you may have a corrupted cookie. Try deleting all the RealGM cookies from your browser and see if that fixes the problem.

We have made adjustments so that everyone will be using the same url when visiting the boards, which is important because cookies that store post history and login information are tied to a specific url. Hopefully this change will prevent people from being logged out or losing their history of the posts they have read.

We also looked into the problem with posts not being submitted. We disabled the post review feature on every forum and while that solved part of the problem it hasn't prevented some posts from not being submitted. We originally couldn't figure out what was causing all the lost posts, but earlier today we found something that could be a factor. Unfortunately we won't have time to try and fix it before draft night. After the draft is over we'll see if we can get this straightened out.

Update:

For a while things improved however I don't care what computer or PDA I post from I still continue to have some problems. I have been regularly deleting the cookies on my computer and also using the "delete all board cookies" feature supplied by Realgm usually simultaneously. I am still getting logged out after each and ever post (again, it doesn't matter what computer I am on this happens every time) and I still often have to login 2-3 times (moderate improvement from before) before I am able to post.

When things improved I was able to post replies to several different people as long as I stayed in the same topic (most times) but hardly ever if I tried posting in other topics on the same board. It's still very frustrating posting on the boards these days. I'm hoping this will improve soon.
