Posting links in your sig

Will it break any rules on these boards if I post a link to a Hawks message board that I go to? I see some people promoting their own sites and such, but I'm just making sure so I don't get in any trouble or anything.

You can post a link in your sig as long as you are not actively promoting it.

For example, If you posted the following in your sig there would be no problem;

http://www.realgm.com

But if you added some text promoting the link like:

Click here to visit my site for a chance to win a new ShamWOW.

We would consider that soliciting users and ask you to remove the link.
