i really do hope that you stick around these boards. beside telling posters to F off, calling people idiots, backseat moderating, questioning authority and alienating yourself, i think you add value to these boards.

I would like to know the mod who wrote those comments for the sole reason that I"m interested to know if it's a side thing I have with them, or if I was even aware if they thought those things about me.

I'm certainly not hurt by the comments, so I don't really see a reason to keep their identity a privacy, as a)they should be able to stand by what they said and b) this isn't a bank where their information can be used to fraud etc.

It's not my place to reveal the mods, so they deserve their privacy, if they want to keep it that way it's up to them (not me), and no I'm not one of them.

Heh, part of the reason is that a handful mods (myself included...actually, myself mostly) have a tendency to write silly things in profiles largely because we can. They aren't warnings, have no bearing on anything, they just are. There used to be a way to see newly created profile comments, which led to mass idiocy, and Kyphi having something like 60 entries. And one of these days I'm creating a Choose Your Own Adventure story in people's profiles. Possibly tomorrow.

But yeah, nothing to worry about. But if you make yourself indispensable and become a mod, you get to read them. So there's that.

Here are the mods I suspect.

PRIME SUSPECT: westthebest. I used to break his balls pretty hard around the time those comments were written. I've definitely given him reason to write those comments.

I've picked on Da Schwab before, he could have written one. I think I actually may have made him cry before.

HMFFL, I understand your reasons to not reveal who this mod is. I respectfully disagree with your decision, and as a result I will assume it's wtb for lack of a better choice.

If it's not wtb, then I recommend this rogue mod step up and take accountability for what they wrote so that wtb does not get blamed.
