It seems like a good idea. Quality generally would be recognized, a lot of people disagree with arguments made by Tsherkin for example, but I'm sure he would score highly on the rating system. I rarely read threads were he is attacked as a bad poster.

Wont happen. Just look at the Raptors board. Fair and reasonable mods are going to be getting very bad ratings.
