If the problem is on realgm's end, I think the problem must be ad-related and not coming from avatars and signatures. I have adblock + installed on firefox so I don't see any ads (at all) on the site. I do see avatars and signatures and have yet to have a problem. I do remember having a bit of trouble on IE (where adblock isn't an option) before I switched.

A few months ago I was getting that Alpha Antivirus crap a couple times a week. Here's my suggestions if you are indeed getting the same thing

- As soon as the popup comes on that says "Your computer is infected! Alpha Antivirus will scan, etc.", IMMEDIATELY LOG OUT. When I did that I actually didn't get infected.

- If you do get infected, a good way to get rid of it is just to type "How Do I Get rid of Alpha Antivirus" or whatever you have, into google. There's great removal programs and guides on there that don't take too long

Just today Sunday the 23rd of Jan. My computer was attacked on the Rose dunk thread. My computer closed windows before I was infected, I hope.

I got this earlier and now I think I got it again. Any ideas how to get these windows viruses off?

I too am getting the viruses from RealGM. First, it was something called Defender or something along those lines.

Now, it is "Defense Center".

Such BS I got it on all four computers after accessing RGM....and that adclick.blahbblahblah shiznit always pops up
