A note was put into your profile to inform the other mods that your behavior on the Bulls board wasn't optimal. The mods can't possibly know every poster on RealGM, so notes are used to give some background information.

And you guys need to look into this feature because it's easing mods into making judgment based on a poster's past instead of actually looking at the post that is the current issue.

I have a bunch of notes and have been suspended before and I'm doing fine 6 years in. You just need to learn where and what to post - learn which mods you annoy and steer clear of them. Not going on the GB or any teams board outside your own is a good start.

Yep. I agree. I can see how some of the mods are more immature than others. There are some really good mods on this site, like Miklo who will try and actually help members regardless of the situation. He looks out for people and will try to reason before taking action. Others really don't deserve their badge on this site and if they have something against you they WILL go out of their way to enforce their "powers" as if it makes them superior in the real world.

I'm going to do just that. If I don't have anything constructive to add, aside from jokes and stuff.... I'm not going to say anything because I now realize that there is no common ground on this site between members and mods.

No - you did not understand my post. You need to stay away from places that you acted like a dumbass in (I usually wait a month or so after I act like a dumbass). Don't attack posters on another team's board about them supporting there players and don't attack posters on the neutral boards and don't start idiotic threads about moderators in the Feedback and Suggestions forum when you were clearly in the wrong.

Because what you posted, on a board you don't spend a lot of time on, was of no value, had no context, and was only going to instigate the regular members of the board. Just because you thought it doesn't mean you have to post it on a message board. You didn't even state why you disagreed with the consensus you just mocked it.

Free speech means the freedom from government intrusion into your personal discourse. RealGM is not a government entity.

What the heck are you talking about?

According to Wikipedia

Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak without censorship or limitation, or both

The right to freedom of speech is recognized as a human right under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR)

God, what has this board become - let people talk nonsense - have fun, enjoy themselves - geez.

It's a message board. Message boards are not a democracy. The rules can be whatever the admins want them to be, they can be enforced any way they see fit. If they don't want you saying things or expressing certain opinions they can stop you from doing so. There's nothing you can really do about it. If they randomly decided that everyone must speak Spanish and tell every poster they love them after each quote or risk being banned, then that's what you'd have to do. It's the internet, when you start quoting the freaking international covenant on civil and political rights you know you've taken things too far.
