It sounds to me you have hurt feelings and are looking for revenge because I tore up your logical reasoning yesterday. How petty of you.

Nice to see a moderator doing his best to set a good example for the rest of the community.

Am I wrong, or should mods be trying to stay above such conduct?

It sounds to me you have hurt feelings and are looking for revenge because Carmelo is demanding a trade to New York...

Moderators shouldn't post any differently than they did before their promotion. Just because you're a mod doesn't mean you can't have fun on a forum on the internet. I really don't understand what the big deal is - IT IS THE INTERNET! THIS IS AN OPTIONAL SITE! There are literally hundreds of alternatives to RealGM and if a person posted as regularly as a lot of the posters do here on those sites, they'd be Global Mods with in a month at 75% of them.

Did a bit of research, eh?

Moderators shouldn't post any differently than they did before their promotion.

I would suppose that's accurate assuming they weren't violating the ToS before.

IT IS THE INTERNET! THIS IS AN OPTIONAL SITE!

I like the site. I'm arguing their standards should be higher.

I'm not someone who chooses to congregate feeling more comfortable where there aren't any.

There are literally hundreds of alternatives to RealGM and if a person posted as regularly as a lot of the posters do here on those sites, they'd be Global Mods with in a month at 75% of them.

You say that like it's a good thing?

I'd just like to point out that people with high post counts that kiss the mods butts are typically first in line to become mods... hence the diehard support.

Or for people who get bent out of shape over a forum and any perceived injustices.

Or for sexual predators, deviants and perverts.

Or for gingers who must keep some contact with the outside world as they simultaneously seek refuge from the hellacious scorching sun.

Or for stalkers whom have restraining orders in place.

Or for people suffering from horrific communicable diseases and lepers. Can't forget the lepers!

Or the desperate and lonely.

Or conspiracy theorists... The Truthers!

Or trolls.

Or people who check the weather and like looking at the odd titty here and there.
