Why was I banned for 1 day?

Ok, I just need some sort of clarification for future purposes. I wasn't given any warning and realized the next day that I was temporarily banned for 1 day and apparently it was a mod from the Miami Heat Board and am assuming it was because of this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1098865&start=15

I did post a link of a video of the reason why Bosh was soft.

I'm just wondering would this give sufficient grounds for a ban? i'm also surprised that I wasn't given at least a warning prior to the ban.

The GB Mod team is sick and tired of cleaning up messes (like yours) that require us to take away from our pleasure to enjoy the boards like everyone else, and then edit your post, send you a warning/ban your account or suspend you for a few hours, like you were. Just post within the groundwork of the thread at hand (something you did not do) and you will have no issues.

just browsing and thought of something....

reading threads like this and the thread that was linked, it makes me second guess about ever posting on another teams forum. it looks to me like the guy was on topic in a "trollish" thread.

part of what makes realgm so great is the ability to visit other boards and post if wanted. but if visiting posters are gonna get complaints, or get reported, then why post at all? this seems counterproductive to realgm's whole existence. if you don't like visitors to your team's page, than maybe realgm isn't a good place for you.

You're saying he's the only successfull troll? Flash is right. You don't go to someone else's house and make fun of the people there. Now family members can because it's family, ya know?

Keep that kind of humor for the GB or your home board, imo.
