Mod Pls Explain Why U locked the thread w NBA Refs book link

At the time I created this thread

I had checked and did not see any duplicate post of its kind on the board (there was a thread somewhat similar (without the Tim Donaghy book mention) created later AFTER I created mine).

I don't want to cause trouble or anything and just want to get an understanding what was the reasoning behind locking the thread.
