Which is a fairly open ended first post. The thread even had a poll attached, listing possible outcomes for the Nets.
One of these options is "Lottery".

Which is a something I have said multiple times over the last couple months, to the point where I have a sig bet with a Nets fan on whether they can make the postseason. And again, this is an option that the OP gave in his poll.

So far, all i see is normal back & forth. Not sure how any of this is baiting at all, especially when it was my post that was quoted. I don't think much of JJ's impact to say the least, and I'm surely not alone in that view.
So then I see this in response to my post.....
The Atlanta Hawks made the playoffs five straight years with Joe Johnson as the teams best player. Feel free to elaborate on why you think the Nets won't make the playoffs or stop posting all together in this thread. Like "bertrob" pointed out, it appears that you're trolling, and your track record really does not help your cause. One screw up on this board and you're only going to have access to read the GB.
First, I really have no idea why it "appeared that I was trolling". The fact that the hawks made the playoffs doesn't mean much to me because I view that as a much better roster than the Nets.
Second, I don't know what the "track record" comment is about. I spend 95% of my time on the PC board, and I have never been suspended form there, or had an issue.
Third, the one screwup comment made me question what exactly I can or cannot say. Not nearly enough clarification.

Last year the Nets were a -6.37 SRS team. In 2011 they were a -6.28 SRS team. Sorry, but a 19 ppg one-dimensional shooter is not going to turn that team around. The Nets biggest problem wasn't on offense(though they suck at that too), but on defense. And Joe Johnson doesn't help their D.
And for reference, ATL made the playoffs because of talent on that roster, not just JJ.

Later in the thread I chimed in again to someone who replied to me....
The Nets have one impact guy who hasn't played defense since he was coached by Sloan. JJ is a one-dimensional scorer who isn't going to add very many wins. Lopez is a non-impact big. And Wallace has seen better days.
Here's the harsh reality. The Nets haven't made the playoffs since 2007. In four out of the last 5 years, they have put up a SRS worse than -5.00
Oh, and that roster is very injury-prone, so there's like a 0.001% chance they all play together for a full season, which is the only way they even have a shot at the post-season.

So again, I pointed out reasons why I feel the Nets are not playoff bound. In fact, my two replies had more substance than 99% of that thread which was mostly opinion and guessing.
Later on, I was suspended. I never got a reply as to why I was "trolling", or i guess "baiting". I would also point out that the "Lottery" option in that thread's poll has 11% of the vote and 15 posters selected it, so clearly I'm not alone.
Again, I really wouldn't even bother to post here, but with the new policies, I feel compelled to get this wiped off, and a bit of clarification on what "baiting" is, so this doesn't happen in the future. Ask anyone on the PC board will tell you, I don't insult people, or name-call, and I always back my claims, even when they're unpopular.
So yeh, I'm a little ticked. I don't feel that taking the minority view in a debate is "baiting". Especially when i give reasons
