iOS App suggestion: Favorite a Forum

In the iOS app there is a tab for Favorite Forums, but no one I've asked seems to know how to subscribe or "Favorite" a forum. If that's an option, how do we use it. If it isn't, that's a suggestion for a future version.

I don't want to allow users to subscribe to entire forums yet, just topics. I think it will cause issues with too many notifications. It's something we will monitor though.

He's not talking about subscribing (to recieve notifications), but "favouriting" a forum so it appears under your favourites tab on the forum app (it's just for navigation purposes). The app just uses the word "subscribe" instead of "favourite" (this subscription is separate from subscribing to a forum to recieve notifications).

It works fine on Android but it doesn't seem to work on iOS devices.

I guess I should change my wording. I don't mean subscribe so much as I mean bookmarking. So when I'm in a topic on the Milwaukee Bucks board I don't have to click back out to Sports Talk then into Team Forums and Milwaukee Brewers to get to the board. It'd be nice to have the ability to bookmark forums.

The subscribe feature of the iOS version is still being developed, and is even behind the Android version, so I'd expect this to be rolled out eventually. We are dependent on a third party for this so I can't give a time frame at all, but I definitely expect you to be able to do this one day.

As soon as the new versions are available, we will release them. I can't give a timeline because it's a 3rd party who handles it.
