How about the ability to read a thread where you left off. For example, you post in a thread, then close it after you made the post. Instead of reading the entire page to see where you last posted and re-reading all the posts you have already seen, it allows you to view the thread where you last viewed it.

On a side note, the forum Kanyetothe.com is very modern and probably the biggest forum in terms of users I have ever experienced. They have a bunch of cool features, and its way more user friendly. If one of the admins perhaps creates an account on that forum and just test it out for a week or so, you will understand what I mean.

But good job on the notifications, it was a much needed upgrade !

I'm pretty sure that website doesn't use phpBB like RealGM does. From what I know, it'd be hard for RGM to emulate a lot of the features that website has. Different forum softwares.

BTW, I just wanted to let you guys know that I really like the notifications add on. It's really helpful and is something these boards needed for quite a while. I think it's perfect the way it is, too. It's simple and gets to the point, while not creating a new pop up window or anything of that nature. Thanks for that.

Exactly. We are way past the option of switching forum software at this point. There have been a bunch of cool new forums developed recently, but we are pretty set in stone with what we have. It's proven to work well in a large scale environment and there's a big comfort level that comes along with it.

Thanks everyone for the compliments about the notifications system.
