Gravity advertising
I opted-out but it still shows up. It's a nuisance, and disrupts posting. Why isn't it going away?

Where is the option to disable it anyways?

I'd also like to know how to disable it.

Re: Gravity advertising
It only opts you out of it being personalized for you, as far as I know you can't disable it entirely. It's a horrible advertising scheme that breaks useful extensions like FastestChrome/Fox and their endless scrolling.
Quite frankly this site is damn near unviewable without adblock plus.

Props TZ!

You have to go on the gravity website. I just typed gravity opt-out in google, but apparently it only de-personalizes it, but doesn't remove it from the website.

Ah right, Adblock. Didn't think of that.
Sucks, at least it wasn't as bad as those malware ads that popped up in the past.

Re: Gravity advertising
The gravity advertising seems pretty tacky. At the very least there should be a "Sponsored Content" header over the non-realgm articles.

Re: Gravity advertising
Like everything else, it is irritating at first then you get used to working around it. It ain't that bad and if people click on some of the links if an article catches their eye, RealGM makes money which keeps up the good work they do. As long as it isn't pop-ups or browser hi-jacks, then I am fine.
