Implicity leading to bans?

Post#1 » by nbafan341 » Sun Dec 4, 2016 8:57 am

Hello,
I come in peace as Im mearly trying to speak positively and offer my perspecive on a growing issue.

Does RealGm Issue bans to posts that are not explicitly breaking rules but had been misinterpreted implications?

I had an experience where I made a post abiding to the rules but a post of mine was misinterpreted and the volume number of individuals concerned led the moderator into issuing me a ban for "completely inappropriate". Within the thread where my post was made, another person sought to clarify what I meant and I was able to explain myself, but was still issued a ban. I followed up with the moderator after the incident and they never got back to me. Prior to this ban, I was coming off another ban where I reflected and read the rules instead of following up with that mod. Considering the timig and how I genuinely tried to be a positive poster on the community, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I notice inconsistency and bis with some moderators and it inspired me to voice my concern here. I knoq this post wont be perceived well, but I Qould appreciate the opportunity to have my concerns addressed as I had made multiple attempts to do so via private messaging with mods and it hasnt worked out well.

Tl;dr is it fair to ban posts that abide to rules but had implications that concerned other posters?

This is one of the posts you got warned for.

Cousins needs to man up, he looks like half the baboons out in America right now.

I don't think you have a right to complain to anyone about it.
