I keep And-1ing my own posts by accident. So used to the Edit button being there.

People probably think I'm the biggest narcissist on the Raptors board.

As far as the And1 button being up top, it was confusing at first as I also hit the And1 a few times by accident. Now, I don't and it doesn't bother me. Actually, aesthetically, it makes the page flow better visually.

Thanks guys. I know some of these changes will take some getting used to, but once your new habits form they will become second nature. We'll try not to make too many design changes.

Bobby Ray: Were going to make this place more lively with the last phase of the upgrades. A reputation system is a possibility but if we do, it's going to be different from other sites. Lots more to do before we get to that part though.

Wow that sounds great, can't wait for the last phase and what goodies it brings us. I wonder when we can expect this last phase?

I am still kinda offended that I still cannot search through my old posts past the 1st page. When I see:

While looking for a post I made only a day or two ago, I get fairly pissed off. Especially, since I am a 10 year visitor/member here it seems we get more and more restricted.

Howard, you seem to categorize RealGMs updates in "phases" and they're all "in the future". Is there any sort of timetable you can give?

Jake,

We just did some behind the scenes stuff for Moderators.

Were working on the phone stuff, re-write of the forum rules, commonly asked questions and a Mission Statement.

There are some other tools were looking to bring back and are working with our hosting company on that. We hope to have a resolution there by the end of June.

Other things we have planned are things were finalizing and do not want to reveal anything until those plans are indeed finalized.

We do hope to do most everything by the end of May or June although depending on our schedule, things could be updated from now until the end of the year.

We will never stop improving our forums.

I like the new AND 1 feature. It's better than before, especially the positioning.

Side note, I would like users to be able to search their history beyond 1 page. Maybe to page 3? It certainly benefits active users that post on active forums.

We are looking into a way to bring an expanded version of the search function back.

Hopefully, we will be able to do this.

Is the hush-hush-ness because RealGM is a business with investors and you don't want to tip off competitors, or do you just not want to promise anything that might not come to fruition just for our sake so we're not bummed, and by not "promise" I mean not even suggest. (Also, if RealGM is a business, will we be able to buy stock in it someday?) (As long as you're on the board, Howard, I'd invest...how much stock can I buy with, uh, $6.82?) (And no, please no one ask if we posters would get a cut, you greedy cows, lol.)

I feel like we have been pretty upfront about what changes we are and are not trying to implement. The lack of a deadline is mainly because there are a lot of people involved and we can't promise any specific time intervals. We keep a running task list of changes we want to make and keep working through it as fast as we can.

This is aesthetically very unpleasing, not to mention impractical. It should be at the bottom of the page, not at the top where there's already plenty of buttons and there's always a chance you click on something by accident. And in one case, just hovering over that green share button is enough to open a pop-up screen.

Actually when I refresh it shows up as a gray bar for a second but then it pops out to the side.
