Every time I post a link to begin a thread and go back and edit it later, the link becomes broken. Can this be fixed?

Hi there,
I'm trying to set up my account and have repeatedly attempted to link to my avatar image which is located in the storage provded for my own website. When I do this I get, "Please select images from allowed sites." I have looked in the FAQ to try to ascertain what the "allowed sites" might be but have met with little success as of yet.

I know this is minor but any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks.
If more people thought like I do, the world would be a much better place.

I am logged in now because of the auto-login feature but am unable to retrieve my password. I tried changing my email to a valid one but cannot because of the current password requirement. There should be another way to retrieve a password

Forum Bugs and Account Issues

Post#144 » by A_dub06 » Mon May 11, 2015 10:38 am

Hi

I predominantly use the realgm app through my iPhone for postings and whatnot so I'm not sure if this is a smartphone or iPhone issue. Whenever I quote somebody, unless it's two sentences not all the text is visible so if I start typing I'll essentially writing over half of what I'm trying to quote. Sometimes flipping on the side helps however it makes the section where you can actually type so small (like 1cm high) and it's very difficult to see. Can someone please let me know if this is an issue others have seen or what the cause of the issue is?

Dado,

We only allow avatars from imageshack, imgur, photobucket and tinypic.

This is so avatars are only posted from safe and known sites and don't set off alarms like they did in the past.

Hi, what should I download to view tweets on Firefox? It just stopped this week. I tried on other desktop browsers, tweets are showing except when I use Firefox.

Thanks

BIRDMAN BIRDMAN,

Is this a RealGM related question? Please let me know.

It sounds more like Twitter to me. :D

My feeling is Firefox has to do an update or something.

On the Bucks board I'm getting lots of general errors and today noticed that sometimes my submitted replies don't show up and I have to post twice.

Sherman Douglas,

Has this been happening today and is it only happening at specific times?

Please let me know.

Sherman Douglas,

Thanks for the feedback. Please let me know if it happens again tonight.

Our guess is it's related to the spike in traffic but we want to fix it regardless.

Thanks again!

Dr Aki,

It's a bug that we will fix today. I accidentally hit a button a few times.

Today, I'm having issues when I try to post and/or edit a new post. Either I'm unable to post, the post disappears or I'm unable to edit or the changes initially don't appear. That is, I've to re-post or edit more than once before it'll work.
