OT: REALGM App and Tapatalk Down - Anyone else having this issue?

Down for me as well, haven't been able to use the app for a week now. Getting the network error message on all my devices as well as different connections. It's the end, it was a good ride.

It's an antiquated platform, that is completed overwhelmed by the number of threads we have. I don't think it was every meant to handle this much volume. I'm guessing it would take a lot of resources and money to move realgm to a more modern platform. I consistently have issues with the site itself where forums can take 30 seconds to 1 minute to load. This is similar to when we had dial up internet. Not good imo.

Has realgm always been this slow using the mobile browser?

Can't see myself using this site anymore if the app is gone.

It has not. The ads have been terrible for a long time but the mobile browser was still usable. Now its almost unusable. I’m getting out of my way to use the site. Can only do that for so long…

The updated app is almost ready for Android. We are also working through some significant improvements for the ads over the coming days.

The slowness issue was due to an AI bot scraping our site that we've resolved.

I haven't gotten notifications since August of 2023.
Will that be back soon?

Just get tapatalk, it's free, and it's what the realgm app is based on. Just search realgm when you go on there, and you can use your login credentials to us it.
