What I mean is, if my signature is a picture or just words linked to another site..like for example..
What if my signature was something like this (imagine it fitting in the size requirements and the picture being on photobucket or something that was allowed).

Yes, but what I mean is, can I use the image or words to link to anything outside of RealGM? As in, if I had a personal blog site, could I use my signature to say "You should click HERE", and here would be my blog site (if they clicked it). Is that still allowed in the signature?

I think it is allowed if it is within the size requirements and on an approved site.

The approved sites have tentatively been set to............

PhotoBucket.com
Tinypic.com
We are still considering others but we want to limit it to a few sites to start.
If someone has a strong objection or feels another site really needs to be added, please let me know.

Lots of people use tweetpic and instagram (iphone and android). I don't personally but I am sure others might enjoy.

My avatars are linked from either my personal facebook or myspace page (you know, the photos/albums section)... are either of those two sites still allowed on here?

The new policy will go into affect Monday and we are starting out with the following.

Imgur
Photobucket
Tinypic
We might add others in the future but we want to keep to the more popular and safer sites.
