The site is reeeeally slow for me, like it takes almost 10 seconds sometimes when you click on a link to navigate within the site. Is soneone looking into this as it can’t just be me.

I am having the same issues as mentioned above using both Safari and Brave browsers on iPhone.

Also getting pop-up ads with sound.

This forum crashes more than any other forum I use right now by far. I suspect part of the issue is the ad integration with the ancient forum software RealGM still uses. I use an iPhone and Chrome crashes literally every 30 seconds.

I agree. I'm sad to say but if this gets any worse I might stop using RealGM, after 2 decades of use. Seems like each year the volume of obstructive ads increases. Now on my phone and laptop Safari, I'll get loud ad audio playing, can't click or scroll without bringing up an invisible pop-up, browser crashes, and the whole site lags terribly even on my new Mac. I can't even type this post without some archaic lag on my text.

I’m seriously contemplating retiring from RealGM due to crazy ads and bad site performance.

We've had two separate issues over the past few weeks.

1. An AI bot was scraping the forums over the weekend that was causing the lag time on the site over the weekend. We believe that has been resolved.

2. Tapatalk is making upgrades to bring the app back live within the next few days.

Is there any roadmap for upgrading the site, and using forum software like the one on www.overclock.net. Feel like regardless of the lag the site is showing it's age. With social media and embeds constantly happening, it would be great to have a fresh site.

Dito. I can only click to read the last page of the thread. Clicking on the first page or moving within threads is not possible. Not just a GB issue either.

And ads are now placed across the screen both within threads and between threads on the overview pages (if they were only at the top or bottom as previously I can deal with that but in the middle while scrolling? Yikes). RealGM is pretty much unusable right now.

Our host resolved the "not authorized" bug that began overnight.

anyone have a white banner at the bottom of their screen when viewing realgm on a pc browser?

Also, some white blocks in between posts as well.
