This feature has been disabled for all users for some time now.
They really should remove the view your posts button and other similar ones that don't do anything. It makes the site look unprofessional having them there.

^Yeah as fudgie alluded to, Search has been disable for non-Mods for some time now. If I remember correctly it was due to the strain on the site due to the constant Database accessing.
They may bring it back in the future, so that's the buttons are still there right now though.
