A bit disappointed in how my situation was handled...

Post#1 » by mavs4life123 » Fri Jul 23, 2010 2:53 am

Just want to let every single member on this forum that I am back after my 7 day suspension which I will explain shortly was handled poorly by the admins and mods. I was banned for stating my mind which we are all entitled to do as per the guidelines set by the admin of the site. Like I have stated previously, it is not my fault nor do I care if he likes what I have to say about the heat. That is no reason to place a ban on me. I cannot control that all heat fans including himself find the need to defend lebron, as if they ever met lebron or lebron gives two cents about them. I was banned for "trolling and insulting others". How can I be trolling on the general board? Another issue which I had was that I was banned for "insults" when mods have insulted me on these boards with an explicit word and another heat mod also insulted me with an explicit word through PM. However the admin felt this behavior was ok by not responding to my emails. So I am confused to why I was banned for not insulting another member. Im too old, to be getting annoyed with insults and such but it does annoy me when we the members cannot speak our minds but the mods can do and say what they please. It is what it is, I guess. I ask for you to not respond to any of my post from now on. This way we can avoid any childish confrontation in the future. I am too old to be dealing with this non-sense. From now on, its best we stay away from any contact.

Over two days prior to the suspension.:

Another heat fan who feels the need to type for the sake of typing. Its quite comical...

Heat3 posted that moronic comment...

Forget it, you truly have no knowledge to the game of basketball.

Take care now...

Your one of those kids who will talk over the internet but wouldn't muster up the courage to shake my hand if you ever came in contact with me...

What boggles my mind is how kids like yourself speak on basketball when you clearly do not know what your talking about...

Like I said you obviously do not know basketball to understand what I am trying to explain to you.

You stay quiet. I will not debate a heat homer and a person who knows nothing about basketball aside from looking at a stat sheet..

Are you proud that you have been here since 04? Like I stated Ive been watching basketball before you were ever created. Do you understand that? Because I somehow did not find the extra time in my busy life to dedicate a portion of my time on this forum makes me a bandwagon fan?

You're right, I wouldn't have given you a seven-day for trolling...I would have asked for a ban because you're an insufferable, self-righteous douchebag.

Take care now.

You are lucky you aren't banned given that you have trolled on various boards...

Yeah, before you start mouthing off mods, you might want to check who put in the request for your 7 day break...

Let me give you some advice, before you place a ban on someone, why not check what was said to me by the hundreds of heat fans attacking me in the General Board. How is that trolling when I did not even insult anyone? What did I say that was wrong?

Why didnt you pull the post that the heat mod wrote an explicit word towards me? Or why don't you go into my PM message and check what another mod messaged me?

That is my issue, members can not say anything while mods can do as they please. Something is wrong there...

LOL I am not one who usually sides with moderators but this case they were clearly right. You were not trying to make a real argument, it was clear that whenever someone made a valid point against you you resorted to calling them a bandwagon fan or something along those lines.

Throwing fuel on the fire doesn't help. You see a problem, then report it. Mopper did the right here. He was trying to control the situation, you added to it.

Everyone can look back and see that I was attacked by various heat members. Of course mopper will side with them because he does not want anything negative to be said about his team which is wrong.

We should all be held accountable for our actions..

Lets forget that fact that I personally have banned around 8 fanboy posters most of which are the Heat bandwagoning type this week that you are complaining about...

A guy who has trolled on various boards and now crying about that he was suspended is going to give me advice... Sure...

If just you post just to start or stir up crap... expect to get warned and suspended.

The same heat fans who troll the general board are the same ones who you have not banned which in turn are the same ones who were having an argument with myself, getting ME banned.

Wrong, because I personally have addressed Heat posters more than once on occasion for their childish remarks, and it's more so the new ones who seemingly have jumped the bandwagon and aren't sure of how our boards work who are making the boards a mess for the rest of us to enjoy.

If you see a problem, report it. The mods can't see everything that is happening in threads, nor should we. We too are posters who want to enjoy the boards and partake in b-ball discussion just like you.

But, going back on topic here, Mopper acted in the right.

You were obviously trolling and you deserved to get banned.

Your taking it the wrong way. I just think its outrageous that mods can take advantage of certain situations and us members are put in a strict guideline which is unfair. We should all be held accountable for our actions. I am not saying all mods do this, but everyone knows what I am saying is true...
