I think the number of Bosh and Lebron names are why this is in limbo. Maybe start with accounts more than 5 years old and work up to 1 year old. That would be an easier way to deal with being overloaded all at once.

I think there might be an electronic fix in the works though, one where you can do it yourself at reasonable intervals.

It is in fact against the rules to simply start a new name right?

I'm hoping this is at least resolved before the season. Either to simply allow a new account be created or some sort of solution to allowing name changes again.

The regular season or pre-season? I personally think the season starts with training camp.
