All threads that are over a yr old should be locked
Cause I've seen some kids bumping really old topics just to be funny or are still bitter about an argument like a nerd who don't let things go and the things that were said in the thread would make him look good now. If a thread haven't had any reply in a while then there's nothing else to add to the thread so it should be locked.

It's already against the rules. Mods should be locking ancient bumped threads bumped for no good reason or to embarrass someone for an antiquated opinion.

I oppose.
Bumping ancient threads is a drunken tradition.

There's phpbb mods that can do this automatically.

I like the idea but I think it needs to be taken a step further. All threads that are over an hour old should be locked.
I'd always thought of propane as a dignified lady. But she can also be a dirty girl.

I never understood why people are against bumping old topics if it is relivant in some way now.

I wonder what the OP wrote that he doesn't want bumped.

Use your mod powers to bump it and move it to the OTB so we can harass him for being a silly goose?

There is rare occasion where it might be ok, but if it's to make someone look bad for a failed prediction or something like talking bad about a player who just came to your team, it's against the rules.

As someone who doesn't quite understand "rules", perhaps locking has it's benefits.
