Threads are "Orange" although no new posts are there...

Post#1 » by nonemus » Sat Nov 13, 2010 8:30 am

So, this has been a pretty annoying problem for me. Generally, if you already viewed the latest response to a thread, it's blue right? And if you haven't viewed the thread or there's a new response, it's orange. However, some of the threads on my browser are orange even if I have already read the latest post. This doesn't happen right after, but like a couple of hours/minutes later. It is very annoying because I keep clicking on threads I've already read thinking that there is a new post. This happens across all the boards, and across different browsers to. Why is this happening? Am I the only one that's experiencing this?

I have the same problem from time to time, although, I find it is more of a vivid auburn colour.

If you log in from a different computer every time, then yes. If you use the same computer and delete your browser cookies every time you close it out, then yes. If you use the same computer and don't delete your browser cookies, then no. If you use the same computer and don't delete your browser cookies and still have a problem, then you should probably try deleting all of your browser cookies and temporary internet files.

What browser/OS are you using? It's definitely a user side issue, not RealGM server side if deleting the board cookies via the site didn't work.
