A "High-Five" System

Several forums have this same system, and I was wondering why RealGM doesn't use it as well.

Basically, it is an add-on to the forums that allows users to compliment other users based on what they have posted. For example, some users may "High-Five" (this can be changed to anything, such as "Give a Cookie") a user because he said something funny, insightful, or whatever reason they feel like that user should be getting recognition. It's fun to compare with other people how many "High-Fives" you have gotten.

Another reason this would be helpful is because some posters have tons of posts, but that really doesn't show how insightful his/her posts are. Some people are post padders, and this would separate the spammers from the legitimate posters that actually post quality material.

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. (Found on another forum)

I really think the staff here at RealGM could make this work.

I think a rep system would be cooler.

Many Boards utilize a 'Thanks' System, where a little button next to the post for posters to click Thanks, and it adds up.

Anyway: viewtopic.php?f=40&t=1114172

Thanks,
