Will the admin of Realgm please enable the function for us to subscribe to thread and subforum when using Tapatalk apps on our phones. That is the convienient of Tapatalk, to jump from anywhere in the forum but you must enable that function. Thank you.

I just updated to the latest version of tapatalk. Let me know if that resolves this thread.

Still not working.

The tapatalk guys said that it is an option that can be enabled/disabled and that you guys probably just have it disabled.

I'm not totally sure what to do then. There are not really any settings for Taptalk, you pretty much just download it and add the javascript to the forum. I looked through the settings I could find on tapatalk.com but I did not see anything relation to subscribing.

Perhaps tapatalk is just leveraging the phpBB subscribe feature, which appears to be disabled on RealGM's forums.

Could it be that you need to update your version of Tapatalk? Again, I'm no expert on this. I just installed it on the forums at the request of some users. I have used it myself sometimes, and it works well for me. I went to a thread and hit subscribe and it didn't give me an error message, but I don't know what subscribing is supposed to do really.

I'm on the latest version. You hit subscribe where? In the app or through a browser? Perhaps this is a permissions issue? I.e. site admin vs. normal user

Kind of wondering the same thing about permissions... I can't find any subscribe option anywhere.

From my phone, I can just click and hold on a forum name and then it gives me the option of Subscribe or Mark Forum as Read. When I click on Subscribe, it just says that the forum was added to my favorites. When I click and hold on a specific thread, a Subscribe options comes up as well. Then it just says processing and disappears, so I'm not really sure if it does anything.

I am having the same problem.... I used to be able to try and click subscribe on a forum, but it would say that there was an unexpected error. Now the newest version of Tapatalk has no option at all to subscribe to a forum.

Guys, I wish I could help out more. This has to be a Tapatalk issue and not a RealGM one. I'll keep updating it as new versions are released in hopes that the issue is resolved in the future.
