I can't help but notice realgm trying to push its other forums. but it still seems, even down to the post count rankings, realgm is a basketball site.

one of the best things about these forums is the ability to visit other teams', and even other sports' forums. but the traffic some of these forums get at all are because the posters that post there are basketball fans who seem to be trying to keep those other forums active.

perhaps "in the next upgrade" (can you tell i've been keeping up with feedback and suggestions?) you could remedy this? maybe link posters to a certain forum, which has rankings of its own? but still with the ability to browse through the other sports and forums? maybe a user choice to choose which kind of sport "ladder" to climb? or a team or board to identify with under the username or avatar?

or maybe, instead of getting more specific to a sport, be less specific? so post count ranking isn't so basketball specific? <-(but being more general might decrease desire to post and thus activity on the site.)

anyway, thanks for the audience. just some suggestions to increase traffic to other areas of realgm. bytheway, i do like the idea of regional links.

We will look at quite a few things to upgrade things here when the time comes.

Post Count Rankings, eh? Well that's easy. Skaterdude is #1 and the rest are not!
