Asian stereotypes and racism

Over the past years, I've noticed more than a few stereotypes lobbed at Asians in general. Most of these go unnoticed by the mod, and sometimes even dismissed.
I'll give a few examples:

(my favourite is "Jeremy Rin" - Chinese people can't speak their own last names?!)
These are just a few examples, but there are literally hundreds or thousands of references of Asian stereotypes on RealGM. I'm not going to go as far as saying RealGM is racist, but I will say that many of the posters hold and perpetuate Asian stereotypes. Each mod here holds different views as to what is acceptable, but I don't think it's enough.
I know a lot of posters here, even some of the Asian posters will retort, "It's all in good fun". Some Asians are cool with it, because they've never encountered it, or they've internalized the racism. I never understood it myself until my mid-20s. I think that it's pretty much the Internet equivalent to hazing:

People say it has no effect, but it does:

I've actually been suspended or warned a few times for objecting to the stereotypes lobbed at Asians. Most mods I assume are white, and not many understand race relations that well. In the last one, by kane2021, he actually says:
"Race attacks" being complaints about Asian stereotypes.
Asian Americans, in the end, just want to be treated like everyone else. My guideline amounts to this: Would you have said that if it was a white/black guy? And if yes, would it have had the same negative effect?
For instance, "Jeremy Lin is bringing the MSG to the Garden" - would anyone say, "Jackie Robinson is bringing the fried chicken to KFC Arena" (if they had one)? I think Asian stereotypes are often overlooked because the Asian community hasn't been as vocal, and many have internalized and accepted the racism by default. I'm not one of them.
Anyway, I'm starting to ramble here, but with Jeremy Lin getting popular, I think it would be nice for RealGM to layout some hard ground rules. Rehashing racial stereotypes isn't a prerequisite to having fun and intelligent discussion.

Asians should stop playing basketball..

A perfect ending to this game would be Lin whipping out his d*ck midcourt and slapping D'antoni across the face with it.
