The Lakers accomplishments are excellent and have made significant changes to the current roster. However, there are some critical areas to address; there are many duplicate players on the bench. Point guard: Steve Blake, Chris Duhon, Darius Morris and Odom Johnson, shooting guard: Goudelock and Jodie Meeks, power forward:Jordan Hill and Earl Clark. With this excess of players that have similar talents, the Lakers have no flexible players with different talents. An example there are no swing men to play the 2 or 3 positions, players between 6-6 and 6-9 to play shooting guard position or small forward; also the the power forward or small foward positions. The front office can not leave this roster in its current status more changes have to be made if this team and management desire to proceed to the next level and beyond to the championship. Robert Horry addressed this problem. The Laker's Kareem Jabbar made some important comments about the behavior of Andrew Bynum; his work ethic and attitude which have caused a lack of effort in his overall playing and his desire to work on his game with Jabbar. These actions help to make the trade for Dwight Howard a top priority. The final analysis is Mitch Kupchak can not remove himself from this team and receive a gold star for a job well done. The opinion is half to 60 percent done and more activity and trades need to performed between now and mid season trading deadline if this team is not performing to expectation.
