I was thinking, the +1 hasn't been properly implemented , since I never see any +1s, so we need to make that feature much more useful.

Maybe next to the post counts we should have +1 counts, and perhaps the +1 ranks will be very good for every posters' credibility.


So example: Little Ozzy has 300 (+1) counts, this automatically makes him a credible member of this board.

Lil ozzy was probably a bad example, hence he's already a mod , he has enough credibility.

Also instead of +1 , just have a basketball with numbers inside, kinda like points.

So for every +1 you get, you will score 1pt.

It will look like this , pretend that the brackets are a basketball. (1) . That's one point.
(5000) That's 5000 career pts.

I think a reputation bar will be useful. The more "1+s" you get, the more your reputation goes up.

And I think what you mentioned is very essential. There should be the total of "+1s" displayed. I say it should be displayed under your total post, like this (Say if you were "+1ed" a total of 5665 times:

There should still be the total "+1s" for each post of course, but there should also be a total "career" "1s" next to your avatar.

The +1 button is pretty useless. I am like the only person who uses it on my board. I still see many posters still quote a post with "+1" or just say "agreed", or basically restate what that poster said in their own wording.

Yeah , I like the way you put the points below the posts. I really hope the +1 becomes more relevant.
