Redirecting problem

Post#1 » by Geddy » Tue Nov 20, 2012 11:55 pm

I just tried to view the forums in Firefox and I got bombarded with messages asking me if I wanted to leave the page or stay on the page. There were too many of them to close and clear since they just kept coming back in an almost endless manner. My browser eventually crashed and had to be closed through windows task manager.

Now I am writing this in IE and it has slowed my browser down to a point that it is unusable. I believe it is the same redirecting problem as with FF, just without the messages.

Yep same here in Chrome. It's making realgm unusable and VERY disconcerting. I can't even type without my browser locking up for 10 seconds or so after a few words.

Same problem here in firefox. After a page loads, clicking the x to stop the page from further loading (redirecting in this case) usually stops the message popups. Otherwise I have to ctrl+alt+del that ****.

I luvs u realgm, and I know this is probably a problem on the advertisers side of things... but problems with ads on this site seems to be a recurring theme. Need to address it

edit: seems to be fixed now

I too am having the same problem.

Since about 6:30 P.M. Central time, the Chicago Bulls board has loaded and then redirected me to a completely different and shady website. I was getting the "Do You Want To Leave Page" message at first, but not anymore.

And it hasn't occurred to me on the General Off Topic Board or on this Board...Just on the Bulls board.

The problem appears to have cleared up now.
