The And 1 button is a great idea, but it has so much more potential. The way the OperationSports.com forums use their button is fantastic, as it doesn't require a refresh and you could instantly see who had previously liked the comment. Any way we can get something like that on here? It would definitely make the And 1 button more utilized.

We plan to upgrade the And 1 button eventually.

There are some other projects that need to be done first.

What is the usage of the "and 1"? To be honest I haven't seen it utilized much. Then again I post on the Raps board, where there are probably multitude of new posts every minute, if not second.

There should be a running tally of how many total AND 1's you have received. The total could then be in your profile above your post count for example. I am positive people would use the button more if this were the case.

We hope to improve this function in the new year.

I don't really notice the And-1 feature while I post/read here. That doesn't contribute greatly to this thread, but I thought it would be good if another Celtic opinion was added.

Sit tight. A lot of new bells and whistles are coming this year.

One suggestion to it that comes to mind, is to add color.

It's hardly noticeable and it needs to catch people's eyes imo. Like having different colors after X amount of 'likes' etc in the background of the "And 1" and the number amount box bottom right, or something to that effect.

In general it's a very nice idea to have.

More will use it if it stopped refreshing and sending you to the first page of the thread. Kind of discourages use

But they said changes are coming, so I'm sure this will end up being a better feature going forward

From what I understand, the And 1 button is similar to the facebook 'like' button? I havent seen many posts in the Bulls forum using it, but i just got here a few days ago.
