report the post on our board and let us handle it.
you're posting on the knicks board. keep that in mind...you must have known that you posting would get a reaction.

Well, you blatantly ignored his personal attacks on me in favor of your user, which as a mod, you should be unbiased to all.
I simply agreed with the sentiment, that YOUR FELLOW KNICKS' FAN posted, and has backed me up for agreeing with his statement and yet you or another mod (I think that was you, threatened me in a very un-polite manner and ignored blatant breaking of the rules).

Re: Trolling
what personal attack?
and i understand you did. but, as a non-knicks fan, you are entering "enemy territory" -- tell me, why did you post there if you were not looking for a reaction? trolling a bit?
you already have a history of abusing the report function. i think this is just another case of overreaction.

He told me to get out of the thread, when I have every right, the rules agree with me.
As a non-Knicks fan, I posted there because a Knicks fan posted an sentiment that I agreed with, that's not a crime when I did it politely with no trolling. If I was trolling, I would've replied like this: "yeah brah, chandler sucks homie", which I never did.
It's the same situation as posting in the GB board.

It's the same situation as posting in the GB board. Does this mean that you are trying to restrict me to only posting on one board?

i'm not trying to restrict you from posting on the gb. i'm just saying, that your posts on a rival team's board will almost always get a reaction.
i think the purpose of your post was simply to get a reaction.

Well, it wasn't. It was to agree to a sentiment by your fellow Knicks fan which is correct. He even agreed that yall overreacted when I posted that.

Re: Trolling
like i said, most of the times when a poster posts in a rival team's forum, it's to get a reaction. as a mod, it's something i look out for. it's normal for a poster to react to a poster from another forum with a "leave" -- especially in a high tension game, such as the one that was just played. mods even tell posters not to go to other forums and post there -- cuban said you should not post in our forum.
i do not think any action is required.

MnM24,
Shoe on the other foot, how do some of our poster react when a Knicks fan, a Heat fan etc come onto our board a post something, even if not intended to cause or stir anything.
The key here is the perception, not the intention.
Regardless of how civil you post something, automatically because you are an opposition fan, people will loathe it.
You haven't done anything wrong, i believe when you say you didn't go there to start anything, but from what you've seen here, its neither a benefit to you or the Knicks fan to converse during a game thread when everyone is heated and frustrated, particularly when the team board you venture onto is losing in a heated rivalry.
Just avoid opposing team game threads, regardless of how civil you're being.
In the heat of the moments, sports fans all over can be irrational.
