I understand its a loaded topic and that a lot of the posters on this website are bigoted morons but you guys need to keep a Jason Collins thread open. You are empowering the bigoted by stating there won't be any dialogue on the subject. This is the biggest thing since Magic coming out with HIV.

Let the people talk about it, delete the innapropriate posts and the blatantly homophobic sentiment.

I agree fully with the above poster and sticking it in current events, like it has nothing to do with the NBA, and where hardly anyone will see it is not the answer. That is like not allowing discussion about Jackie Robinson because of a few racist idiots. This is a seminal moment and really shouldn't be ignored, it actually just ends up making it look like Realgm has a problem with homosexuals. I don't support deleting posts on hardly anything, but if you feel like homophobic comments shouldn't exist just delete the most egregious posts.
