Was banned from the general board - please reconsider

I was banned from the general NBA board, for taking a Michael Jordan quote out of context (this was around the time of his 50th bday, and all the stories that were out around the time).

I didn't mean to misquote it, I just didn't read the article before posting, and just read the headline.

I was banned for 2 weeks (can't remember by whom), and then the same mod banned me again for the same infraction, upon my unbanning. I asked him why, and he didn't really have a reason, just told me to take it up with other mods.

Any chance I can get back on? Maybe on a 1 strike Im out policy?
