Comments on articles

I just rediscovered this add to the site (it's an awesome addition and intelligent implementation through the forum), but I think it could be improved.

It would be nice to be able to And1 and report articles/comments without having to go into the forum thread. This makes it easier to acknowledge contributions and based off of the number of And1's an actual article gets, you could identify "hot topics" or "trending topics" or something that could potentially be used for a new feature in the future.

We are actually looking into having trending topics. It's something that is likely for a later stage in our upgrades.

As for using the forums, we do it that way so it's easier to moderate. It's possible we can upgrade that in the future.
