Real Damn GM

I signed up to this site as a 13 year-old Magic fan on July 4th, 2004 (under a different username). A middle schooler who believed Steve Francis would drop 35 a night as consistently as I did with him on NBA Live. Now, as a 22 year-old UF student, I've put all my hopes in a young, promising player in Tobias Harris. Since then 2004, I've seen players come and go, big threes formed, teams relocate, and LeBron James blossom. One thing that has stayed consistent in a world of change is this website. MySpace fizzled out, Facebook is fading, and Google+ failed to even lift off. Here, an ild saying was honored: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." And for that, I've been coming back for almost a decade now! When I tell you I learned a lot about ball on this site, I mean it. We've become our own society. A basketball culture. This may get locked or moved but the appreciation I have for the website is something I can't put into words! This thread holds little direct basketball relevance, but it's something that I wanted to express to the people of this board. What a hell of a site.
