Sometimes I see a post that's exceptionally insightful and I desperately want to commend how beautifully well written the post is without spamming the board up with posts that quote the post and say, "+1". I mean, I know we have that And1 button and it works most of the time, but my problem is that in a lot of cases the posts that I want to praise end up being my own and for some reason you can't And1 your own posts just yet.

I'm just wondering... when is this going to be fixed?

We do not allow this because of people would abuse this and "And 1" all of their posts.

There are no plans to change this.

Like you, I love all my posts!!! I think my posts are all exceptionally insightful and I desperately want to commend on my own beauty without spamming or quoting myself, even though I admit to doing so on more than one occasion instead of not being able to hit the And 1. My question is, can we add more than just (1) to a And 1 because if a post is that remarkable, then it should get like a And 2 or And 3!!!
