Someone started a thread trying to come up with a nickname (I think) for Masai Ujiri. Yes, the thread is as silly as it sounds.

Anyway, I didn't need the thread locked, but I wrote "Not sure if serious". tsherkin gives me a warning for derailing based on that. I doubt the OP reported me. He was probably being tongue and cheek.

I reply to tsherkin and he says if there's an issue with the thread I should report it. So I go ahead and report the thread. There are many Masai threads to discuss his job with the Raptors. But the thread is still open. I reported another post in the thread where some guy brings up a book. Sounds like derailing. But nope, no warning there.

How is my post derailing? Can this warning be removed from my account?

"Not sure if serious" posts are always derailing and reporting a post doesn't guarantee anything exceptvthat mods will look at it and decide if the report is accurate. For the Masai thread, other Raps mods disagreed with you.

The warning will remain.
