RealGM Users,

As everyone might notice, there are some changes under way on the forums.

These changes will be taking place until the end of next week.

Before anything, if anyone is seeing a huge white spot between the Wiretap box and the forums, just clear out your Cache or press CTRL F5

Among the things that we have implemented.

- Expanded Profile Features

Users now have the ability to add logos of their favorite teams in their profiles.

Just go to My Profile which is just to the left of private messages and click on the Profile tab. You can select your favorite teams from the pulldown banners and the logos will appear in your profile.

There are also other features that you will see that have been added.

- Post Borders

We decided to add these in and make them different for each forums so they would match that team's colors.

All of us believe this will be an upgrade from simply a line separating posts.

- Layout

On the outside of the forums, we have changed the font sizes but not on the inside of the posts.

We do plan to create a sub section of some of the General Forums next week.

Closing

Keep in mind, these changes are a work in progress including the slides at the top.

We welcome all feedback and look for even more changes this week.

The Control F5 feature doesn't seem to do anything. I still have this huge gap between the wiretap and the forum.

Are you using a Mac computer? That may be why. Try clearing the cache first if you haven't.

If I had one request it would be to make the page body wider. 820 is just a tad narrow in my opinion. But I usually keep my window maximized. So maybe having the width expandable would work best for everyone.

I want to also mention besides that small critic/request I do like the updates overall.

Looks great so far. Hopefully you guys are able to touch up the mobile app soon as well.

Looks really sharp to me.

Favorite team logos, under the avatar, should be links to the team forums.

Can't seem to switch to web view from mobile anymore (tweets and some videos don't show on mobile, so I typically use(d) the feature a lot).

Use a popup blocker.

like the new look, especially on my phone, but i don't like the realgm mobile page (unless they has changed?). i also used my team page, Detroit, to see the wiretap for all nba news. i dont like how i can't anymore.

Question: Not sure if this is related to the changes, but whenever I load RealGM on a mobile device (Android phone and tablet), the page loads fine, but then freezes for a good ~8 seconds. It's quite frustrating. I disable JavaScript, and it is fine. Has there been any changes that would cause this?

I like the updates.

The new fonts will take some adjusting to get used to though.

Not a fan. The extra advertisement after the OP makes the site feel cheap... they have this setup over at hfboards and it's something you NEVER get used to, just a huge eyesore. Couldn't you at least put it along the border, or really anywhere that's not in between posts?

Can you guys put And 1s on the mobile app? That would be pretty nice.

I prefer scrolling vertically not horizontally through topics/posts/pages.

Or at the least please, very much consider it, asking nicely/politely/sincerely it would be very much greatly
