Please REMOVE the top advertisement

Post#1 » by cthunshammer » Tue Oct 6, 2015 2:46 am

The top advertisement on each page is by far one of the most obnoxious elements I've ever seen on a website. Nevermind does it covers a ludicrous amount of real estate, asks for the location of the user from the browser, and usually spawns a high-resource video that starts itself. It MOVES the site downwards AFTER the site renders. This means every time I click onto a new page, with a few seconds after scrolling, I have to GUESS when the ad will suddenly push the site's content down. I've never misclicked so many links before on a website. This is the sole reason why people resort to AdBlock Plus, uBlock Origin, and/or ghostery. There's a huge community of people that don't enable ad blocking software on a website for the sake of ethics, but then there's sites like RealGM that force people to do it.

Of course, there's a Fox logo in the header. So I'll just go about blocking your crap Nike ads.

This ad is simply horrible, and it is 1,000 times worse on a phone. Plus every time I restore chrome there is a 20% chance that the reloading of this ad completely locks up realgm/chrome on my phone.
