"Retired" mods immune to ignore

Post#1 » by Marionettetc » Tue Mar 1, 2016 10:27 pm

Hey Howard, is this possible to change? There is a "retired" mod that posts on the team board I frequent, and I personally can't stand him - but I can't ignore him either.

No, and the person in question isn't abusive I just don't want to read their posts.

Had to check.

Will wait for Howard, but I wouldn't hold my breath on this one for now. Best you can do is just see their screen name and manually ignore as best as you can for now. You may want to send Howard a PM with the name of the retired mod to see if there are any alternate measures he can take to help you out based on that.

Mark K is actually pretty nice, he instigates some very useful conversation from what I can tell on the Bulls board, we had a nice chat on the Heat board about Deng being a good scorer if we use him off cuts (which as I can tell from watching him over the last two years is correct). 10/10 poster, would not ignore,

my only gripe with him is that he doesn't post on the otb much anymore.

Surprised you can't ignore retired mods, would be something to look into "fixing".

This is unlikely to change.

I consider Retired Moderators part of the team and some do come out of retirement.

The best thing to do I guess is tsherkin's suggestion.

BTW: Mark K is a great person and would love to see him come out of retirement one day.
