Games sub forum on OTB pls?

We often hold brackets and drafts through out the year for various events, but they can clutter the board up a bit.

Current example is Simpsons Character Bracket to celebrate March Madness. We've got over 20 participants which is good to have so many involved, but it still tends to take over a bit for those that aren't participating because they didn't watch The Simpsons, missed the sign up, or simply because they're Turkish.

Setting up a games sub forum (like that on the Trades and Transactions board) will allow us to keep the OTB a little less cluttered. It also give posters who may not frequent the OTB as much a chance to get to know the OTB community by partaking in games, and without having to jump straight into the RTT madness.

Yes, I would say this is a good idea. Everything from our OTB monthly brackets, fantasy basketball discussions, drafts, Howards yearly awards, howards carnivall wheel of death, etc could be grouped much better there. As we grow as a community and take over realgm with gb outcasts I believe the games will just clutter and degrade the quality of the OTB further. Who wants to scroll pages to find an off topic thread when the games are just cluttering everything. Case in point our current bracket takes up over half the first page of threads. I for one think this could be better suited for its own personal board.

HowardMass, please do NOT create an OTB games sub forum. Instead it should be an entirely separate forum, and the General Board should be made a subforum of the Soccer Board, which in turn should be a subforum of the new OTB games forum. Make it so

Everyone loves ducktales!

Howard this is a great idea, not only will it make the GOTB less cluttered, but will potentially keep the threads a little less derailed and have people who actually want to participate post rather than people trying to get a laugh.
